Why is Chinese email sent by the old WebMail cannot be viewed in WebMail 2.0 for the first time?

The old WebMail (InterChange) is an obsolete product which always sends email with ISO-8859-1 charset/encoding format.  It is not a standard format for composing email content with Asian languages (e.g. Chinese). Therefore, Chinese email sent by the old WebMail can ONLY be properly viewed by the old WebMail itself.

Anyway, you may change Encoding/Charset inside WebMail 2.0 (please refer to the picture) to big5, gb18030 and read that mail again.

Please refer to FAQ "Why the content of some email cannot be displayed correctly?" for further details.
