How to clean up my mailbox in WebMail 2.0?
Options for Deleting Messages
You have two Delete options:
a1. If your Delete option is set to "Move Deleted Messages to the Trash" (default setting), you can click the Delete icon, and the deleted message will be moved from the current folder to the Trash folder.

a2. If your Delete option is set to "Mark Messages Deleted", when you can click the Delete icon, each selected message will be marked for deletion, and displayed with a "x" marked symbol next to it in the message list.
To know how to set up or change these options, please refer to here.
No matter which option you have set, the deleted messages are still kept in your mailbox on the mail server (either in the Trash folder or in the original folder with the messages marked as deleted). Your mailbox disk quota/usage will NOT be released until the deleted messages are permanently purged/removed.
Permanently Remove "deleted" Email from your Mailbox
You can permanently remove your deleted email in either of the following ways depending on your Delete options setting:
b1. If your Delete option is set to "Move Deleted Messages to the Trash", you can permanently remove specific deleted messages by simply delete those messages again from the Trash folder. (Refer to picture of a1)
In addition, you can use the "Empty Trash" function to clear the entire content of the Trash folder thus clean up all "deleted" messages in one step. The function is available after clicking the Folder tab to see the list of your folders.
b2. If your Delete option is set to "Mark Messages Deleted", you can click the Expunge icon to permanently purge selected deleted messages (or all deleted messages if you do not select any messages) in the current folder. (Refer to picture of a2)

You will be prompted for confirmation before the permanently purge messages action is performed.
