How to set up forwarding address?

Enable email forwarding with a local copy (of the incoming mail) left in current account: deliver the incoming message to your account and forward the message to the specified forwarding address(es).
Enable email forward without leaving local copy (i.e. Re-directing): deliver the incoming message to the forwarding address(es) only.
Disable email forwarding: deliver the incoming message to your email account only. It means that there will be NO email forwarding.

Important Notes:
You must select "Deliver to mailbox only" if NO forwarding address is specified in the list.
You must NOT create direct looping i.e. should NOT forward to yourself.
For example, if your account is 91234567, you should NOT enter
91234567@student.cityu.edu.hk as a forwarding address, otherwise, you would have an endless looping.
Prevent indirect looping. That is, prevent setting up email forwarding both in your email account and another email account such that each of which forward email message to each other.
e.g. if 91234567@student.cityu.edu.hk has been set forward to peter@hotmail.com and peter@hotmail.com has also been set forward to 91234567@student.cityu.edu.hk, mail message would be forwarded between the above two email addresses and an endless looping would occur, resulting in NO email can be delivered to both addresses.
